Student Registration & Family Access

Welcome to the Kankakee Valley School Corporation (KVSC) Student Registration and Family Access page. Here you'll find the information and resources you need to:

  • Complete annual online registration
  • Skyward Family Access
  • Find important forms, guides, and tutorials

Family Access (Skyward) allows parents and guardians to stay connected throughout the school year by viewing student information, attendance, grades, schedules, report cards, food service accounts, and district communications.

Before each school year, families must:

  • Complete online registration through Family Access (Skyward).
  • Use a computer, laptop, or Chromebook (a mobile phone is not recommended).
  • If you don't have a device, contact your child's school for assistance.

How to Log In

  1. Visit the Kankakee Valley School Corporation website.
  2. Click Parents Hub.
  3. Select Skyward Login to access Family Access.

What You Can Do in Family Access

  • View student information
  • Check attendance
  • See grades and missing assignments
  • View class schedules
  • Email teachers
  • Manage food service accounts and view purchases
  • View and print report cards
  • Read district and teacher messages
