WELCOME to the Food Service Department of Kankakee Valley School Corporation. We strive to provide nutritionally balanced meals according to the USDA National School Breakfast and Lunch Child Nutrition Programs. Our goal is to encourage healthy choices to our students by offering a variety of foods that meet the dietary standards of the program at a reasonable cost. By providing nutritionally sound meals, students will have the ability to maintain excellence in the classrooms.
Our menus and meal prices are located in the quick links section under Lunch Menus at each of our five schools. Every menu has been analyzed to meet strict federal standards to ensure a healthy and well balanced meal for our students, staff, and guests.
We also offer free and reduced-priced meals to families who are eligible according to the federal income guidelines. You will find applications for the program under the Forms & Link tab of our website.
