NEW YEAR FOR 2021/2022

Kankakee Valley Food Service Department has been working very hard to make sure our students will have the best nutritional food with our very best safety measures in place. Their safety, as well as our staff, is our number one priority. We assure you that we have taken all recommendations by our Health Department seriously and will implement them to our very best.

Also, once again this school year, we will be offering ONE FREE BREAKFAST and ONE FREE LUNCH daily to all students enrolled at Kankakee Valley. Meal assistance applications are not necessary to be filled out to receive free meals. However, if you need assistance for textbooks, please fill out an application. Welcome  to the Food Service Department of Kankakee Valley School Corporation.  We strive to provide nutritionally balanced meals according to the United States Department of Agriculture National School Breakfast and Lunch Child Nutrition Programs. Our goal is to encourage healthy choices to our students by offering a variety of foods that meet the dietary standards of the program at a reasonable cost. By providing nutritionally sound meals, students will have the ability to maintain excellence in the classrooms. We are also apart of the Offer vs. Serve Program. Please click here to be understand what offer vs. serve means to your student.

Our menus and meal prices are located on each of our five schools main page under Lunch Menus. Every menu has been analyzed to meet strict federal standards to ensure a healthy and well balanced meal for our students, staff, and guests. Click here to view the Nutritional Facts of food items served.

If you are in need of textbook assistance, please print out an application below that is suited to your language and bring to the corporation office or school your child attends.
