Book Fair/Fine Arts Night at KVIS

Plan a fun evening at KVIS!  The Annual KVIS Book Fair will be held from April 1-7.  Parents have the opportunity to shop with their children on Tuesday, April 7 from 5:00 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.   While you are here shopping, be sure to take time to wander the halls and enjoy our Art show, sponsored by Mrs. Zeilmann.   Plan to end the evening with a short concert that will be held under the direction of Mrs. Lovelace-Chandler.

Transportation/Bus Changes

In order to provide an accurate drop-off location, changes in bus arrangements must be in our office prior to 1:00 p.m.  The best situation is for students to have a note to give to the office in the morning.  If arrangements change during the day, that change needs to be phoned in prior to 1:00 p.m.  Please do not send this information via email as email is not checked on a regular basis.

School Hours

Kankakee Valley Intermediate School hours are 8:40 a.m. -  3:17 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 9:10 a.m. - 3:17 p.m. on Wednesday.  Children who do not ride the bus are not permitted on school grounds until 8:20 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 8:50 a.m. on Wednesdays.  Students must remain in their cars in the drop-off/pick-up lane until the vehicle is parked in the designated area.  If you are dropping off after the doors are closed, you must come in through the front door and come to the office to sign your student in.
