With the passage of Graduation Pathways, students are now able to individualize their graduation requirements to align to their postsecondary goal. No longer must all students fit into the same academic mold, but rather, they can choose the options that best meet their postsecondary needs and aspirations. Students can create pathways that serve their educational interests and prepares them for postsecondary educational and career opportunities.

The two linked forms below are required paperwork for the employability skills component of the Graduation Pathways at Kankakee Valley High School.

  1. Students give the Employability Skills Benchmarks rubric to the adult who will be evaluating them (i.e employer, coach, teacher, club sponsor, etc.)
  2. Students complete the Employability Skills Student Reflection and return it to the KVHS Guidance Office.

The employability skills rubric and reflection should be turned in as soon as they are completed.
